Fun is certainly in the eye of the beholder. Here are some things we find fun.


Left: Raw Honey from a friend (large jar), after a short burst of microwaves (glass).
Good clarification, but hot enough to destroy beneficial enzymes.
Next try will be a double boiler and filtration through cheesecloth

Right: Spectrometer chaos.
Stripping down, repairing, rebuilding, scavenging old UV-Vis spectrometers
Good fun, but challenging!
Next steps are programming/building more modern interface(s) using Open Source Linux Tools
